Obituary for Alice Cannon Redwine

Alice Cannon Redwine, 100, passed away peacefully at Baptist Nursing Home in Calhoun City, MS on Thursday, October 5, 2017. Born November 10, 1916, in Calhoun City, she was the daughter of the late Austin and Mattie Fleming. She was retired from Tennessee Bolt and Screw in Memphis. A very kind and loving woman, her memory will be cherished forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
Pryor Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family.
A funeral service celebrating her life will be held Thursday, October 12, 2017, at 3:00pm at Pryor Funeral Home in Calhoun City with Bro. Jim Vance officiating. There will also be a visitation from 1:00pm until service time at the funeral home.
She leaves behind a son, John Henry “Ace” Cannon, Jr and his wife Sue of Calhoun City, MS; three grandchildren, Mike and Michelle Cannon of Iuka, MS, Ricky and Carolyn Cannon of Columbia, LA, and Pam Cannon of West Monroe, LA. Ms. Alice was also blessed with a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband of over 50 years, John H. Cannon; her second husband, Era Redwine; and one son, James Robert Cannon.
Pallbearers will be Andy Reid, Don Bryant, Jim Chrestman, Carl Griffin, Bill Tharpe, and Douglas Bullard.
