Willie Ray Dye, 69, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Grenada Living Center in Grenada, MS. He was born October 25, 1946 in Calhoun City; he was the son of the late Reath Glen Dye and U.V. Melton. He was a member of Way of Life Ministries in Grenada, MS. Pryor Funeral Home is charge of arrangements.
Funeral service will be Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 1:00pm at Pryor Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home with Bro. Chris Owensby and Bro. Frank Samples officiating.
Pallbearers are Kameron Boone, Harold Mann, Randy White, Stanley Caulder, Joncy Musclewhite and Wayne McMahan.
Honorary pallbearers are the A wing at Grenada Living Center, Halcyon Hospice, Bro. Chris and Regina Owensby, and Donna Owensby.
He was survived by his daughter, Patricia (Eddie) McCammom from Water Valley; two sons, Tony (Jennifer) Dye from Houlka and Jimmy Ray “Bubba” (Misty) Dye from Calhoun City; three brothers, Glen (Martha) Dye from Batesville, MS; Kenneth (Theresa) Dye from Bruce, MS and Jimmy "Bodie" (Teresa) Dye from Big Creek. 6 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and one sister.
