James Robert Sharpe, 73, went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. He was born November 5, 1942 in Calhoun City, MS; he was the son of Horace Sharpe and Pearline Caviness. He was a machinist at Heatcraft for 34 years, member of Lewis Memorial Methodist Church and a Mason.
Funeral service will be Friday, June 3, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Pryor Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ervin Wright, Bro. Roger Reeder and Bro. Carl Morris officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Calhoun City. Pryor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be The Masons.
He is survived by his wife, Ora Jean Sharpe, Calhoun City; two sons: Robert Sharpe, Calhoun City and Michael (Denise) Sharpe, Eupora, MS; one brother, William Horace (Charline) Sharpe, Nashville, TN and two grandchildren, Brady and Cayden Sharpe.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
