Anita Diane Bailey, 67, passed away peacefully at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo on Wednesday, December 27, 2017. Born April 6, 1950 in Big Creek, she was the daughter of the late Troy Lee Bush and the late Beulah Mae Lollar Bush. Ms. Diane attended school at Vardaman where she met her husband, Roy Bailey. Together they shared 43 years of marriage. Along with keeping Roy straight, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her dog, Marley. In her free time, she loved being outdoors in her garden or spending time reading the newspaper. A kind and loving woman, her memory will be cherished forever in the hearts of her family and friends.

A graveside service honoring her life will be held Saturday, December 30, 2017, at 2:00pm at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens in Calhoun City, MS. There will also be a visitation from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at Pryor Funeral Home prior to leaving for the cemetery. Bro. Allen Hall will be officiating.
Pallbearers will be Sonny Bailey, Marshall Bailey, Perry Bailey, Rob Langston, Michael Bush, and B.J. Wilson.
She leaves behind her husband, Roy James Bailey of Vardaman; a daughter, Amy Bailey of Vardaman; a brother, James Lee Bush and his wife Beth of Vardaman; sister-in-law Eva Bush and sister-in-law Jackie Bush, both of Vardaman;
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Mary Alice Bush and Kathleen Bush Shepard; three brothers, Charles Bush, Wayne Bush, and Billy Bush; two sister-in-law’s, Faye Brasher Bush and Peggy Cain Bush.
